Prices


Orion prices are open for compromise, include all ground and domestic air transportation, hotel accommodations (double occupancy, on bed and breakfast basis), boat trip on the Lakes all entrance fees at churches, palaces & parks, all meals and cooking facilities on camping (full board basis), professional guiding and cooking services, mules & mule packers & rangers on walking, scouts at parks & walking, and all government taxes. However, prices do not include visa charges, alcoholic beverages, fishing and other water sports equipment rentals, tips, personal items and needs. Orion is not responsible for the amendment of rates that occur beyond its control

Payment

A Provisional booking may be made by phone, fax or email

Contracts and agreements will be valid consequent to Orion ’s confirmation of the booking by fax, e-mail, letter or telephone. At the time of confirmation, 25% of the package tour price should be transferred through our bank account. Full and final payment can be done on arrival in order not bother our clients

If complete payment has not been made at the commencement of any tour, Orion is not obliged to conduct the tour unless other arrangements have been made before hand.


Cancellation

If tour booking would be cancelled 25 days before the tour commencement date, Orion will charge 25% of the tour cost, as it has to pay cancellation fee for the reservations made on your behalf.

If cancellations made 15 days before the commencement of the tour, Orion will charge 50% of the tour cost.

There is no refund whatsoever for last minute cancellation of less than two weeks prior to the tour commencement.

Accommodation


According to the preference of clients, we book rooms in hotels ranging from the luxurious Addis Ababa Sheraton and Hilton, to fine first and tourist class hotels in major tourist areas, to simple rustic inns in remote areas, most with private baths.

Transportation

For regular tours and safaris, minibuses, coaches, and 4WDs will be provided according to the route and number of participants.

Guides

English, French, Italian and German speaking guides are available. Other than these we will provide upon request.

Liabilities

Only the laws of Ethiopia govern, Orion ’s liability to passengers transported in its own vehicles, and all claims are subject to the jurisdiction of the court of Ethiopia in which the cause of action arises. Although every possible care is taken to safeguard you and your property, Orion accepts no liability for loss or damage of any personal effects. Orion will use its best efforts to assist as an agent to our clients in dealing with third parties such as hotels, airlines and other transport companies and travel agents. However, Orion can not be held responsible for any loss or harm such as sickness, injury, death, acts of God, or additional costs incurred due to denied boarding, overbooking, cancellation or delay caused by the third party.
